Air Cycle Machine System

    The NASI Air Cycle Machine System (STC# ST01253CH) was developed at the request of our customers to address DC8 50/60 Series aircraft operating in a freight, passenger, or special use configuration. The first installation was completed in July 1998. This design, unlike the DC8 Series 70, does not require an aircraft re-engine effort, and the system is offered at a price which delivers excellent payback performance. Installation was accomplished in 900 man-hours with a weight savings +/- 500 pounds, and other benefits include reduced fuel burn through CG and drag improvements
