The projects and products at National Aircraft Service lie in two major categories - environmental and structural systems.
These are some of the systems that are currently available from National Aircraft Service, Inc.
Environmental Systems
Flight Deck, Avionic Bay, Compartment And Passenger Rapid Temperature Control: Since the early 1990s NASI has delivered over 260 electric rapid temperature control system solutions for our customers operating in extreme environments. These aircraft systems, cost effectively, deliver rapid heating or cooling to provide improved environments for equipment and personnel performance.

Air Cycle Machine System: The NASI PACS System provides DC-8-60 combination operators with superior temperature control at reduced costs. Dispatch reliability, fuel savings and reductions in ATA 21 system maintenance costs all contribute to the success of this modification. Replacement of the OEM TC and Freon Systems with proven ACM technology delivers a cost effective option to our combination customers.

Flow Control System: The NASI FCS (Flow Control System) provides DC-8-60 freighter operators a very cost effective way to manage bleed air flow and pressurization. Replacing the OEM Turbo Compressor System and Freon System, the NASI FCS system, combined with the NASI electric rapid cockpit temperature control system, delivers significant payback to our DC-8 freighter operators through improved dispatch reliability, reductions in life cycle maintenance costs and weight.

The NASI Flight Deck Security Cockpit Door: The attacks of 9/11 have forever changed the priorities of the aviation community.
More Information
The National Security Door delivers superior performance through the simplicity of design. This system offers the lowest life cycle cost of any door design in the industry today. There are no pressurization blow out panels. NASI’s patented design is a simple yet effective method for equalizing air pressures in the event of a rapid decompression event. Applications for the DC-8, B727, A300 and A310 are FAA approved. Other aircraft applications, incorporating this venting technology, are available and awaiting installation approvals.
